My name is Rachel and I was born in Durango, Colorado on September 30th, 1996. I enjoy drawing, soccer, basketball, listening to music, and many other activities. Why Animas?
Animas High School is a school focused on project-based learning, which is different from traditional learning in the way that instead of learning the majority of our information from textbooks, we learn through student seminars and more focused teaching. We then incorporate the information into a project, with each project unique to the individual student. Animas is a small community, which contributes to a family atmosphere throughout the school.
